Our House Therapy Logo and Favicon (Standard Black and Brand Green)

Brand and logo design work done for Our House Therapy Collective, a non-profit focused on creating a warm, welcoming community where people feel supported. Our House Therapy is a community of therapists, individuals, families, children, and therapy dogs who come together for the purpose of healing.

I collaborated directly with the founders of Our House Therapy to design their logo and initial branding guidelines which included logo and favicon assets, brand fonts, and brand colors. Above you can see the final logo and favicon assets shared with Our House Therapy that can be seen on their website. I started with a research meeting to learn about the non-profit and what kind of feel the founders were looking for in their brand. The main words used to define the brand were warm, welcoming, and trusting. These words were carried through each logo iteration and can be felt in the color palette created below.

Color Palette and Brand Font

I wanted to provide Our House Therapy with a color palette that met their brand needs of being inviting and trusting, in addition to feeling timeless and hitting the essentials. I didn’t want to go with a true black or white, so I softened the black and offered a creamy off-white color to act as the foundation for the brand. The secondary colors help bring in some warmth and pops of color. They’re intended to be used for CTA buttons, hyperlinks, callouts, and as attracting background colors on any print or digital collateral pieces.

The main brand font, Poppins, offers a soft yet legible font that has a touch of playfulness (both in the name and style). This allows Poppins to pair easily with many standard web fonts, like complimentary serif fonts offered by Google and website CRMs. Poppins font also lets the content shine and not feel overwhelming due to its mild style and legibility, allowing the content to be at center stage so families and interested parties can easily learn more about Our House Therapy.
