The Black Artists Print Shop
My Role: UI/UX + Visual Designer
The Goals
01. Design a webpage that puts the artists first, highlighting their unique stories and collections while being shoppable and easy to navigate.
02. Create a branded campaign for The Black Artists Print Shop campaign that’s housed under the Framebridge brand.
03. Work with campaign stakeholders to design a thoughtful end-to-end experience for customers.
Landing Page Demo
The Black Artists Print Shop is a space to support Black artists by finding their work, hearing their stories, and supporting their businesses. Each artist features two pieces in the collection that are available in a small selection of frame styles. You can also preview the page here (this promotion is not currently active so the products are not live on this page).
I worked with the Art Director, Creative Team, Head of Merchandising, and the Product Development team to bring this campaign from start to finish. I was heavily involved in the page experience, including how users would navigate to this landing page from other site placements. In conjunction with the Art Director, I was able to create the landing page design and components. This included (but wasn't limited to) HTML/CSS coding, page design, campaign strategy, photoshop, illustrations, web animation, copywriting, and advertisements.
In addition to this landing page, I also conceptualized and created many of the ads that ran across social media platforms for the duration of this campaign in conjunction with the brand and organic team leads.
Above-the-fold Design
Every iteration of The Black Artists Print Shop tries to explore a different brand angle, making this campaign a particularly fun challenge. This is how I came to create the “Celebrating Black Art” stamp and header image that help give the campaign an identity. These elements are also repeated in campaign blog posts and social media ads to deliver a cohesive and unified experience across the Framebridge website and online ads.
These assets, and other design elements, were also used in Instagram reels, stories, and posts created to feature artists’ profiles and works.
